the last couple years one of my favorite parts of getting together with my two childhood best friends for our annual trip has been starting it off by catching up with the every growing east clan at their home in new haven, ct.  this year kate and i were introduced to the youngest & newest member of the family, sir rowan david. (i added the ‘sir’) hopefully these pictures speak for themselves, but rowan & big brother sam are two incredibly special little gems. and i grow more and more respectful of my dear friend katelin & her fabulous husband brad as they pour their hearts into these two sweet souls.

cheers to you east’s. here’s to years and years of sweetness amongst you.

this little bird, aka my little sister, will be leaving tmrw to begin many new adventures. the start of which will be beautifully close to me here in nashville, as she starts her freshman year at a college near by. it has been such a pleasure to see her blossom into the incredibly smart and kind and strong young lass she has become. it blows my mind to think about what the world has in store for her. the thing i can be sure of is that it will be truly fantastic.
